The media frenzy isn’t as intense as for that other wedding 30 years ago, but there’s no lack of interest in the upcoming royal wedding. Millions of people around the world are expected to tune in to watch Wills & Kate exchange vows in front of a couple thousand of their closest friends.

For American viewers, the late morning wedding is a bit ill-timed, seeing as how late morning in London falls into the category of “It’s on WHEN?” in the States. (Or the Colonies, if you prefer.) Dedicated royal watchers, or just the insanely curious, will be forced to get up at various degrees of O’dark-thirty. Personally, The BeerLady is not willing to do that without a cocktail. Thanks to Colin Cowie and Chambord Flavored Vodka, we have a new recipe just for that purpose.
